Bistaan police in Khargone district seized illegally cutivated Cannabis and registered a case against Samilal alias Shyamlal. The police received information that in the village Rasgangi Sai Kundi Phaliya of Police station Bistaan, a large quantity of marijuana plants are planted in the fields  between the Tuvar and cotton crops. On this, two  police team was formed and raided the field of the accused was raided. One team caught the accused from his house in the field and the other team carried out inspection in the field. During inspection, the police team found a large number of mega sized plants up to 10 feet high planted in the field. When the accused was asked for the documents regarding cultivation of cannabis, he said that he did not have any documents. A total of 620 illegal ganja plants weighing 14 quintals and 26 kg were duly seized by the police team from the field of shyamlal. The police team has registered a case number 290/24 under section 8/20 NDPS Act against the accused Shyamlal at Police Station Bistan. The matter is under investigation. SP Khargone  Dharmatraj Meena has announced to reward the police team in this case with a reward of Rs 10,000.
